Our lovely Kita is alive!
We proudly introduced you Kita, the virtual character that’s been very popular among teenage girls in the recent weeks and the large scale interactive project that we’ve built it around. We used various online platforms such as MSN Messenger,MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, Hi5 and Yonja to bring her character to life; her blog Kitanindunyasi.com has been visited by 500.000 visitors... We also recommend you to check her duet song with Turkish pop-star Keremcem that hit the music charts her video clip which is being aired on all national music channels. We gave Kita’s duet CD as a gift with teen magazines.
In September, we started with initiating an online presence for her on major social networks such as Facebook, MSN, Blogger, Flickr, Yonja, Hi5, etc. and we still support her on these platforms. So far, her blog was visited by 500,000 visitors with more than 1.500,000 page views. On Facebook, her friend list hit the ceiling with more than 5000 girls - which is the maximum limit! Actually she has 10,000 friends on her facebook account. Besides Kita has fan pages on Facebook which has on 5.000 fans.
Since September, we've been working on a multitude of projects to help her become famous. These include mostly viral efforts, content creation and management, online ad campaigns, PR 2.0 on the web and some other offline activities such as, print designs for youth magazines and some other efforts...
The major milestone for Kita in her star career was the music video, where she performed together with the Turkish pop star Keremcem. You can see her music video on the music channels...
Kita's World
KitaninDunyasi.com is started as a personal blog of lovely Kita, and became a portal for youth in less than five months. Initially we helped her creating her beautiful personal page, but now as it turned to something "big", we also help her to maintain it properly.
KitaninDunyasi.com features a wide range of content appealing to girls. All cutting edge and trendy stuff is on her web site and latest news,books, love, music, celebrities or school are favorite subjects which she loves to write on and also which are followed by a large audience.
So far, KitaninDunyasi.com was visited about 500,000 girls with about 1.500.000 page views. Besides her presence on social networks, blog is the main place where she interacts with her friends and fans.
Kita and Keremcem's Duet Hit Music Charts
Kita becomes a "star" with her music video...
Kita’s music video with Keremcem is the first Turkish music video where a real and virtual star come together and sing.
We did many researches to find the right celebrity. After all, we decided to work with Keremcem. Because of his music, his sympathy on parents. Turkish youth girl loves music and they want to be a star. Strongly be a pop-star. So our lovely Kita’s came youth’s dream true.
Briefly, the music video tells you about how Kita met Keremcem. Kita, is a brave girl who follows her dreams. So, when she recognizes Keremcem in a park, after a short moment of hesitation she decides to follow him. She run after her dream on streets of Beyoglu, and finally manages to get into the concert hall via the backdoor. While looking at Keremcem from top of the stage; she loses her balance and falls down off the catwalk to the stage... Kita's first song "Hayallerin Pesinde" - a duet with Turkish pop star Keremcem - is about to become a real hit. Reflecting Kita's energy and dynamism, the song looks like to be soundtrack of this winter. Recently, the song is very popular among national radio stations and the music video appears on all major music channels.
Recently, Kita's duet with Keremcem hit PowerTurk's top 40 (Turkish CHR music radio) and became #1.
Kita's Song
Kita gives her place to her friends and invites them to the karaoke advergame KitaninSarkisi.com, where every girl will get a chance to sing with Turkish pop-star Keremcem. What's more, girls will be able to share her performance as a music video with her friends. Now Kita’s song Hayallerin Peşinde is also girls’ song, too.
Kita's New Year Surprise
Kita has 4000 friends on her MSN messenger and mail list. In the beginning of 2009 we want to make a suprise to girls from Kita. We are inspired from the flip book concept. We animated Kita at lower frame rate and put each frame as separate page in the PDF- which we sent out as e-mail. Our lovely Kita expands her fame all over the Internet. And we keep supporting her in various digital media, including TV.
Kita Is On Mobile
All after these success, we create a mobile tool for girls to download Kita’s song Hayallerin Peşinde. We prepared easy using wap access. Moreover, the song can be downloaded into mobile phone and used as ringtone by using this wap basics.
This Is Magic
Augmented Reality involves mixing real world video with computer graphics in a real-time and intractable manner. As this definition perfectly fits to our previous efforts in the music video (combining real footage with 3D animation); we decided to implement AR for our Kita on a different medium: Print & Web. In addition to opening new horizons in mixed media and removing barriers between print and web.
Copy says “ It’s magic.” Actually this is Kita’s magic. We grab youth’s attention and make them have fun, while interacting with Kita. They can turn and play with Kita. We bring Kita to their room. In this step, Kita and girls are so closed to each other.
Kita Presents Kotex Young

After all of these success we create Kotex Young web site. The web site is the informative brand site about product and its features, while highlighting major Kita projects we’ve done so far for Kotex Young. On the top right corner one might find “first start kit” booklet specially prepared to educate teenage girls about their period and major product benefits. On the bottom centre are Products, Kita and Social Responsibility Campaign with Keremcem (Keremcem visit girls at their school and girls are able to vote/promote for their own school via this web site)
Provide brand information and connect our previous viral efforts about making Kita famous to Kotex Young brand. In the beginning we aired Kita without Kotex brand, just like a virtual 3D girl who wants to be famous; but later we connected her to the brand. So this site also includes our major projects. And a social responsibility project where the pop-star Keremcem visits schools with doctors to educate them about the period in an entertaining way.
Unlike our previous viral efforts where we event didn’t mentioned the brand name at all; this time we brought the Kotex Young product in front and made an informative web site around the product and its features. We also spiced up the site with Kita projects and an online voting for Keremcem’s visit to schools. This site plays an important role in our communication while connecting Kita to Kotex Young.
